In the Buyer Portal
In the scenario that someone uploads a CSV full of products to the quick order pad, but unfortunately, some products, while in stock, do not have enough stock. The error message will now be as follows…
{SKU} does not have enough stock, please change the quantity. Stock Available amount - 5
In the Legacy Theme Version
In the scenario that someone uploads a CSV full of products to the quick order pad, but unfortunately, some products, while in stock, do not have enough stock. The error message will now be as follows…
“{SKU} does not have enough stock. Stock Available amount - 5”
There will also be a notification added to the Quick Order via SKU
That indicates “{SKU} Stock Available amount - 5” when the product is only partially in stock.
If you are using Multi-lang or have translated the B2B Edition Theme on the Legacy theme version then you may need to do some additional testing to these workflows to ensure no translation updates need to be made. The change is expected in production in 2 weeks.
Tax Class for custom products in B2B Edition Quotes
What’s changing?
You will be able to add a tax class when creating a custom product during the quoting process

Development updates will slow down over the next 4-6 weeks as we focus on completing two large projects. This is what we will be working on..
Open Sourcing the Buyer Portal (expected Q2 2024)
What’s changing?
We’re open-sourcing our market-leading B2B Buyer Portal, designed with developers in mind. Now you can fork and create your own Buyer Portal application, minimizing the costs of solving complex vertical-specific B2B challenges. The portal provides all fundamental B2B processes optimized for today's digitally savvy B2B buyer.
Custom Buyer Roles and Permissions in the Buyer Portal (expected Q2 2024)
What’s changing?
You will have the flexibility to configure roles and permissions according to your company's needs. Buyer roles can be finely tailored, ensuring that buyers with specific job descriptions have access only to the resources required to optimize workflow efficiency and enhance security. This phase of the project will cover custom buyer roles on the global level, meaning all custom roles can be assigned to all business accounts. Later this year, you will be able to assign each business account its own custom buyer roles allowing for more flexibility and granularity.
