Default Quote PDFs

What’s changed?

It is now possible to set a default quote template. This template will appear:

  • For users after the completion of a front-end quote request via the download pdf button, and print (buyer portal only). These templates will populate in the language set in the BigCommerce store settings(if B2B supported).

  • This template will be automatically selected when the sales rep emails the quote request

    • If the sales rep selects a different template or language, and sends an email - the buyer view of the pdf in the account portal will update accordingly.

Database Quote Template

What’s changed?

A new template has been added to all stores. This template is the default quote template for all stores during the default quote pdf feature launch.

This template is named "Database with Checkout Button" and includes:

  • Contact information (if applicable)

  • Shipping/ billing first and last name (if applicable)

  • Country

  • Reference (if applicable)

  • Store address

As well as all other fields currently supported on quote templates.

Additional Quote Template Updates

What’s changed?

All quote templates and PDFs now support:

  • product variants/options/modifiers

  • A link to the PDP of the product

Notice: Sky and Dots Email Templates

What is changing?

in 30 days we will retire the Sky and Dots quote templates. If you have used either of these templates within the last 60 days, you will receive an additional notification from BigCommerce about the removal of these templates.

Buyer Portal Migrations

Self-service migration tool

What’s changed?

A new tool has been developed that allows agencies and merchants to enable/disable the buyer portal themselves to migrate to the Buyer portal.

We have taken a brief pause in taking on new migrations to refine the new migration process. If you signed up for a migration in December, we will be reaching out in the next day or two.
