Exciting news! Our new quote interface is launching on Monday March 3rd, 2025 with a ton of exciting updates! Our new CPQ system makes it easier than ever for your sales staff to flexibly and efficiently build quotes for your buyers!
Access Details
To start taking advantage of the features available with our new CPQ system, go to the Quotes area of your B2B Edition control panel, open/create a quote and click Try it in the banner at the top of the page. Make sure to save any pending changes on the quote before switching. These features are available for all B2B Edition stores.

Note that while these changes improve how you view and interact with sales quotes, existing quote information is not changed unless you edit it yourself.
It will be possible to switch back and forth between both systems until May 20th, 2025 when we will switch over all stores to the new interface automatically.
What’s New
Quotes will be managed from a single page with the abilityto edit any field at any point in the quote creation process. This allows a quote to be built more organicallywith the flow of buyer or sales rep with less clicks, and less navigating.
B2B Quotes
What’s changed?
You can now create a company account, B2B users within that company account, and save addresses to the address book while creating a quote! No more double data entry and navigating to multiple sections!
Role type is now displayed on contacts to ensure the right selection every time. Including support for custom roles on the Buyer Portal.
Expanded support for sending quotes to Super Admins! Super admins will appear in contact searches for easy selection.
Default Billing and Shipping will be pre-fill on the quote if these addresses have been designated.
B2C Quotes
What’s changed?
You can now access your full directory of registered users within quotes, allowing you to quickly and easily select and pre-fill data for B2C users.
B2C quotes submitted from the dashboard will populate under the associated account in the Buyer Portal for review and purchase, consolidating quote management for B2C users.
Access to BigCommece’s address book to select saved addresses reducing the need for double data entry and making B2C quote creation a breeze!
Guest Quotes
What’s changed?
A new workflow specifically for creating quotes for users with no registered accounts which makes it easy to both create quotes, as well as differentiate the user type on each quote.
Products
What’s changed?
Sales reps can now hide or show columns on the product table, move them around in the order that suits their workflow.
Sales reps can also choose what they want visible on each product row. This includes SKU, notes, and variations / modifiers.
Optional configurable workflow for adding products.
All quote line items now have numbers and products can be re-arranged in any order.
Adding products is one of the most time consuming parts of a quote. So now you can now “quick add” multiple products to a quote at once. This can cut down considerable time on larger quotes.
Automatic notifications on open quotes when there are issues on any products for quick and easy resolution and troubleshooting.

Quote Conversion
We’ve reduced the number of steps required to convert a quote in the dashboard by 75%! This faster conversions, and time back to spend on other things! There is now only a single confirmation screen instead of 4.
We’ve added order extra fields to this confirmation screen for entry as previously only quotes converted in the checkout would allow for order extra fields entry. Ensuring all orders that enter the system have these fields entered.
Duplicate Quotes
What’s changed?
It is now possible to duplicate a quote with a single click right from within the quote interface which reduces time for quote creation when creating the same or similar quotes!

All this translates into time savings so that your sales rep can spend more time on the important things. Like nurturing their leads and relationships. And that’s just the beginning! This launch is packed with improvements, and we have even more enhancements on the way.

Many of you rely on our quote interface to create B2B orders, and we're making that process even easier. Soon, you'll be able to use the quote interface as a seamless order creation form—no need to save or store the quote.
Quotes Tags
What’s changing?
Quote Tags allow your sales team can collaborate and organize quotes. They can be utilized for anything from approvals, to reminders to follow up, or mark that this is a hot lead.
Quote Staff Notes
What’s changing?
Staff notes allow your sales team to leave internal comments on quotes for themselves or colleagues. These notes can even be automatically carried over to the converted order, ensuring downstream teams, like fulfillment, have the context they need.
Error Messaging when a Variant or Modifier Changes on a Quote
What’s changing?
We are adding improved error messaging when variant or modifier is deleted or updated on a product that is located on an open quote. These changes can require re-selection, or removal from the quote to prevent issues from checkout or data issues downstream.
